Cavity wall top-up

When the roof was off, I noticed there were a few places the cavity wall blown fibre had sunk (or never got there in the first place).

Google's not showing anything - can you get a bag of the fibres - or beads (either would do)?

I can go by feel and stuff a bit more in when I fix the soffits later on...

Cheers,

Tim

Polystyrene beads are cheap and effective. I cant find the company I found = the best price from, something like AC Packaging. Avoid the temptation of c= heaper shredded polystyrene, it doesn't shed water. You'll need a still day= to do it, it blows about readily.

If you need to work in mildly windy conditions I'd stick with fibreglass.

Use cavity batts and stuff bits of them down. Poly beads are a pain in the arse as they will blow all over your garden. Normal loft fibrelass isn't treated
