Buried uplighters any tips?

Installing some GU 10 buried uplighters in tarmac drive, familiar and qualified with the electrics but unfamiliar with buried style uplighters.Trunking looks prefered way of connection just looking for any hints or tips to make life easier. Thanks

What are they lighting up?

SWA is normally used. Trunking/conduit underground tends to fill with water.

illuminating the sky, or do you have a carport there? If the former, try LED marker lights rather than halogens, which really would not be appropriate.

Theyll be a real bug magnet.

Sorry, thought you said you were qualified in electrics?. I take it you have actually done installation work with trunking and do know what it is ? Or did you mean conduit?. Anyway as Andrew said, you should be looking at SWA cable.
