BS6651

BS 6651 is the old spec for lightning conductors.

Apparently on the outside of any cupboard containing the LP bond there should be a sign informing the reader that its in said cupboard...

Don't spose anyone knows what the wording of said sign should be?

"Warning: May contain lightning."

I can't find any requirement for that having just searched BS 6651 which is where I would expect the wording for the notice to be.

is w_tom still around? I seem to remember that name from donkey's years ago (before I really read uk.d-i-y, but he sometimes arced over into groups that I did read :-)

Bob has been running a defensive tag line for some time now that says "*lightning protection* - a w_tom conductor" - so with a bit of luck his searches for keywords from this group ought to have such a high false positive rate that he no longer bothers ;-)
