Broken mirror wardrobe door

Due to my ham-fisted attempts to move the bed whilst decorating, I've managed to break one of the mirrored wardrobe doors on my fitted wardrobe - does anyone know where I can get a replacement from, preferably local to the West Mids?

Cheers

Been there, done that (with a Rug Doctor).

Assuming you just broke the glass, not the entire door...

Take the door off, take it to a local glaziers shop and ask them to replace the mirror. They'll charge you for the mirror-glass and the fitting.

Wasn't too bad, but I cannot remember how much it cost me. Can't tell the difference in appearance afterwards.

Bit of sticky back plastic or lots of heavy sticky tape over the broken bit will stop it breaking up more when you hump it to the car.

Quite a bit i would imagine, going by the ludicrus prices of mirrors these days, some not even glass backed.

Only problem with that is an 89" wardrobe door don't fit too well in a little hatchback, particularly considering the 40" width :( Will have to get a glazier to visit and quote me.

Not as much as you'd think - but it wasn't pennies.

Somewhere in the region of 35-40 quid maybe.

Hmm. That is quite wide. And long. And heavy.

Mine was only about 14" wide and 6' tall.

Yeah - don't see why they couldn't do the job on site. It'll be messy mind - depending on how well the glass is glued on, they'll probably have to break it off in little bits.

Got a garage?

Don't know about prices your way - but I reckon you'll be looking at well on the wrong side of 100 quid.
