Boiler leak

After many years without a problem I have discovered that, since abou

four weeks ago, there is sometimes a small water leak under one of th two Vokera Mynute 28-96SE boilers in the garage of my house.

The leak is intermitent. The first time I saw it there was a bigge amount of water on the floor, but never too much, no more that, I woul say, 250 ml. Then nothing for a couple of weeks and now a few ml ever other day or about.

I have confirmed that the water comes from the return valve of one o the boilers. I see the water drops forming there.

All four valves of the two boilers have similar slightly oxidized stai marks from past slow water drips.

The water pressure when cold in the hot water circuit is about 1 ba and about 1.8 - 2 bars when hot. I increased the pressure recently b topping up with water in order to see if the leak was bigger but it ha not made any appreciable difference.

My question is, is this a problem or is it like that by design?

Both the central heating and the hot water in the house seem to b working fine.

Thanks,

Antoni
