You can buy 'silicone sealant remover' which I seem to remember was in the same aisle as the silicone sealant at my B&Q.

Don't know if it's any good though.

Silicone eater, available from screwfix etc.

A sharp scraper, especially to remove it from hard surfaces works quite well.

It's OK, still requires a bit of manual removing and several applications if the silicone is thick. It would be nice if they supplied it with a little plastic scraper thingy - it took me ages to find something suitable.

(An old credit card cut into chunks, FWIW).

Dow Corning makes a product called OS-2 Silicone Cleaner and Surface Prep which will soften the silicone and make it much easier to remove.

I was just about to ask the same question. Does anyone know if Dow Corning OS-2 is safe on GRP?

Thanks,
