Can anybody help standard tile battens will not bend to the curve. they snap at a knott. I want something that will curve and screw to the vertical posts at 460 cntrs. it must have a 10mm lip for the tiles to hang on to and will need to be screwed to the batten. Any idea`s. scored MDF?

Not sure what 'tile battens' are...but any wood/composite, if thin enough, will bend...

Kerf the battens - Cut about half the depth on the inside of the curve at ,say 200mm intervals. Easy to do with a sliding mitre saw - excuse for a new useful tool, perhaps fo Farhers day :-)

Not an ounce of good for hanging roofing tiles. ;-)

Generally for hanging roofing tiles on - and "rosemary tiles" was the rather obvious clue there!

Steam them for half an hour. Use a suitable length of plastic soil pipe, stand it more or less vertically with a few battens inside, loosely plug the top with cloth, feed from the bottom with a hose from a wallpaper stripper.
