After years our mechanical Glow Worm Mastermind has given up control o our boiler, I've sourced a new digital contrller that fits on the bac plate and will obviouly knock off the electrical supply to the hous when i install this. My question is should I also turn the boiler of when I do this or is it OK to leave it running ? Also the thermostat in the lounge has never worked as far as I know can I just do a straight replacement on this as well or will the boile need to be calibrated or something as well?
I have absolutely no experience with boilers so this will be a experince !
