Just moved into a house and found a problem with the BAXI Solo 2 40 PF boiler. From cold, when you set it to continuous (and i assume also if it was timed), all the status lights light up as normal, including the pilot and burner light, but the pilot doesnt actually light. What is worrying is that the burner light goes on even when the pilot isnt lit (it must think the pilot is lit) and you can hear and smell gas coming out of the flu.
If you turn the water or heating request off and back on again straight away it lights normally, it waits for the pilot to light before starting the burner.
Any ideas?
