Automotive coolant / flush suitable for GCH

I have quite a lot of radiator flush and coolant spare after servicing the cars. It is Holts flush (1 part) and Mobil 1 with enhanced corrosion inhibition.

Is radiator flushing solution for automotive use suitable for flushing out household gas central heating system?

Is coolant for vehicles suitable for using as a corrosion inhibitor in gas central heating system?

Fernox is a little expensive.

The boiler is a non condensing, has it's own header tank This is a soft water area and scaling is not a problem.

It is better to use the proper stuff and in the recommended concentrations and test regime.

Fernox is cheap in comparison to the cost of fixing the damage that will be caused by not using it.

If you want something cheaper, Screwfix sell an unbranded inhibitor at a lower price.

Scaling is never a problem with indirect heating systems because the same water is used.

Corrosion of components in the system containing iron certainly is.
