I have a 1970s build two storey house with badly peeling paintwork to the soffits. They look (from inside the house) like they are asbestos! Is this likely? If so, what's the best paint to use for this surface?
TIA

Could be an asbestos based product but more likely "Supalux" or "Masterboard" if from 70s. Neither contain asbestos but even if it is one of the old asbestos cement sheets it will be no problem outside and left alone other than coating in undercoat and gloss or even a masonry paint
Maybe pliolite? I not sure though.

Possible, but oher boarsd were used from teh 60's onwards
Any old exterior masonry type paint.
Thanks fellas
