A Non-friction bicycle lights generator (dynamo)

In this new generation bicycle light system, no battery is needed, no friction on any parts of the bicycle. The lights flash regardless speed of the bicycle and weather conditions (unlike normal dynamos!). Very bright.

It can be used as a stand-alone light system (as a normal dynamo) on your bike, or used as a back-up for your existed battery-powered lights

Congratulations on inventing perpetual motion. What you now need to do is connect the generator to a motor to get the full benefits. Or just sod off.

Not perpetual motion! Uses a magnet attached to a wheel spoke increasing the dynamic load on the bike. This requires more energy to pedal, regardless of wether the lights are on or not.

Calm down Dave, haven't you heard of the Pricycle? When you pull the brake level the regenerative braking cuts in which generates all the energy the lights need

Is that brake gonna work with that cable routing?

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "iwico" saying something like:

Piss off. Whilst I applaud innovation, I hate spammers with a passion.

Yup, but a PITA to ride up hill since they have no gears, no belts, and no CVT! ;-)

How else do you suggest it could be run? Some girly frames use a pulley hanging from the seatpin pinch bolt, but it doesn't really offer any advantages, and these aren't serious bikes anyway.

Do they go like zippo (downhill) ?
