Actually, the video's better for it Brian. The live show was spoiled by the Musk lot chanting "U.S.A.! U.S.A.!"
The vid shows the landing barge floating in a fairly choppy sea (white tips on the waves). The rocket comes in crabbed at an angle, presumably to compensate for wind, and makes a perfect landing on the barge slightly offset to the SpaceX logo painted on the deck. There's one little blast from one of the engines after landing, presumably to stabilise it.
It's a pretty damn impressive achievement whichever way you look at it.
SpaceX say the same rocket will go up again in a couple (weeks? months?)
- I forget. The whole point is that they are re-usable.
