There's a 4 page corrigendum published...
The message from snipped-for-privacy@cucumber.demon.co.uk (Andrew Gabriel) contains these words:
Seems there was too much copy and paste without enough reworking in the original.
"A radial final circuit starts and finishes at the distribution board, where it is connected to an 30 A or 32 A overcurrent protective device."
Whoops.
Now amended to:
"A radial final circuit starts at the distribution board, where it is connected to an overcurrent protective device."
Don't see why. There are Fleming's left and right hand rules.
And the corkscrew rule, which also uses the thumb.
aka Oersted's right hand grip rule - much better than Fleming's when dealing with coils...
Is this from personal experience ?
And shipwrights.
What if you don't have a shipwright handy?
You use Fleming's right hand rule.
You've got to find your own corkscrew.
