Wonderboard Sub prep. for tile

I am preparing my wunderboard underlayment for tiling. I am told that regular fiberglass drywall tape (webbed style) and the tile mortar is what you use to "tape" the seems fo the wunderboard?

Is this correct? If not, what should I use? Thanks
