i have a 27 inch tv and a seperate vcr that i'd like to put up in my master bedroom but i'm not sure if i should do a wall or ceiling mount... which would be more sturdy? and if you could post a link of one that you would recommend, i'd appreciate it very much :-)

Duuno about ceiling mounts, but Lowe's carries wall mounts. They are secured by three lag bolts screwed into a singe stud. The result LOOKS a bit scary (mine is a 25 incher, almost touching the ceiling), but is really rock-solid. Natcherly your stud has to be secure!
They also sell a VCR/DVD accessory shelf that attaches below the TV shelf. Both are available in black or white. Works quite well.
The TV and VCR swivel from side to side independently, and the TV has a 2-position (or was it 3? don't remember) downward tilt . The TV is secured with a strap.
