Recently some doves and martins have begun stealing dry cat food set out
for the outside cats. Evidently the cats are AWOL too often - probably
searching for new SOs at the neighbors.
Maybe a 'No birds allowed' sign next to the cat food?
You know it's time to clean the refrigerator
when something closes the door from the inside.
The cats are lucky it's only their food. A neighbor had a long haired
cat that liked to lounge around. The swallows viewed it as a source of
building materials and would swoop down, grab a beakful of fur, and get
the hell out of Dodge. afaik the cat never managed to catch one of them.
