sqeaky floors under carpet.

Have a squeak under my carpet between joists, do those breakoff type screw kits work to fix this? thanks.

They work quite well execpt in extreme cases, like poor quality framing that has warped leaving large gaps between the joist and subfloor. If you don't have accesss to that area, just install the kit and hope for the best. Good luck.
