Reuse Frozen Paint?

Hi group - It's been between -25C and -40C for about the past week here. I brought in some exterior Behr paint that I had in the garage and it was pretty frozen.

Am I able to use this paint again after I have thawed it out inside ?

Thx, david

I have used previously paint. Basically, if it will stir up nice and smooth again, it seems to be OK for use. Des

Only if you paint the house in below zero weather ! Its amazing how fast it dries in that weather too.... you can touch it a minute after you paint and it will be hard. You, on the other hand, wont be hard. They just wont get hard in the cold.

No, don't do it. I tried it a few years ago and it was a disaster. I actually can't remember what happened but recall putting into my memory bank never to do it again. Pat

You could reuse it as long as you are able to stir it up smooth. Glycol alcohol is added to protect it when it freezes.
