How do you remove plastic shower walls? Thin plasic kind that were glued to the greenboard. Safe to just pull or is there some chemical to dissolve the adhesive?

How do you remove plastic shower walls? Thin plasic kind that were glued to the greenboard. Safe to just pull or is there some chemical to dissolve the adhesive?
You can try pulling it off. Worst that can happen is you damage the sheetrock.
