Mother's day gift- WOW!

Don got me a full quality craftsman wood spoke shave! And a #3 Woodriver bench plane. Then he flushed out my old hand carving set and got me 5 new blades and a better sharpening stone (this small set for things like dollhouse furniture, shadow boxes of the 3D european sort). Next, several planks of 1/3inch deep 8 inch long and 3 inch wide cedar wood and some similar bits in oak (all well cured). I'm plotting a 3D (back smaller than front, 4 inches deep) shadow box. Oh and 3 small 'baby' clamps suitable for this size wood. 2 Dog leg chisels (1/8 and 1/2 inch). Hehehe He knows me so well!

Now what sort of trouble can Mommie get into next? The 2 dog leg chisels anready got used. I needed to fix the design on the 'side by side' where someone long ago haddamaged part of the pattern. Evened it out in 5 mins flat with those bad-boys. I just was afraid to touch it's delicate structure without the right sized tools and my blades were all beyond repair. Much simpler with the right tool in the hand eh?

PS: Also Charlotte got me a pair of earrings. Cute little pink pearl looking cluster for work. Quite professional looking for my 'suit and tie' equivalent for ladies job.
