Some DirecTv Boxes have OTA tuners in them as well as Satellite
tuners. DirectTV also sells a seperate OTA Tuner that plugs into the
DirecTv Box or DVR. If you are close enough to DC to get OTA signals,
it will pickup up both Baltimore and DC OTA, it will search for all
OTA signals, you put your Zipcode in during setup, primary and
secondary market. A good OTA antenna connected to antenna coax input
helps. So the answer is, Yes you'll receive all OTA signals available
if box has a OTA tuner in it, you also get locals, as defined by
DirecTV from satellite, so you actually get them twice.
