Inverted roof insulation

Has anyone here had any experience with inverted roof insulation? I have a

1955 modern house with a low pitch (3/16 in 12) roof consisting of tar & gravel on 2x6 t&g with 4x8's on 4' centers. (no attic, no insulation). the roof still has some life in it, and were planning an addition in a couple of years so a new roof does not make sense right now. after some goggling this type of insulation seems to be popular in Europe. The link is from Dows India website and the product, Dow Roofmate, does not show up on their US website. the Idea seems sound in preventing a cold roof.

Spayed on foam for flat roofs is more common down south and the only way to realy insulate a flat roof.
