How many 12 AWG conductors may be run in a 1/2 inch aluminum flexible conduit ???

what insulation are you using? If your using thhn it would be 10 but there are other factors that can limit the number of conductors. 10 will not be any fun to get in there.

Amps plays a big part in this but the words you say are correct but he could be tring to pull 150 amps. through a 1/2" flex alumium conduit. The conduit could be used to start the fire in your BB-Q pit.
