Well a few have been and others may need to removed???????????????

For replacement and cleaning off.

Apparently they sometimes get, like software, corrupted.

It's really amazing in the land of the brave and (well not so much nowadays) free; with it's so called 'democratic' system of government!

But I joke of course. In some not so democratic parts of the world it's called either; buying, votes, electing yourself (or immediate cronies) into permanent office, or instigating a coup or junta. Many dictatorial regimes are much better at those tactics than US politicians.

Regardless of anything else the election of the new president is breath of fresh air and hopefully a signal to other countries that US democracy is still alive and had s not been Bush/Cheneyed into the hands of the US corporate oil-igarchy. (That last misspelling is deliberate by the way!).

Don't get your hopes up too high. Paraphrasing from Eric Hoffer's "The True Believer"

"A mass movement can exist without a god, but it will always fail without a devil. Mass movements must have something to hate."

Bush is gone. With him out of the picture, the current enthusiasm will dissipate and wither.*

*Rasmussen poll released today shows Obama at the same approval rating as Bush at this point in their respective administrations.
