We do need to fire off a few Tomahawks. The companies that make them are probably waiting on orders. If we do not use some of them, the factories do not get orders and will go out of business. Then if we need some more in a few years, we will not have anyone to make them.

Do you remember the ten cent diode for a radar unit that costs over $

100,000 ? They had to be certified to military spec. Could not buy one except from the origional manufactor even though there are thousands just like it at radio parts places that were not certified. The origional place could not make just one or two, they had to tool up again and make thousands of them. Sort of like and apple. There is no way to make just one, you have to have the whole tree.

Years ago, there was a Readers Digest story about a military guy. He was supposed to be doing flight simulator training. But, the simulator was not working. He noticed a fuse holder around the back. Pulled the fuse, and found it blown. Went to Radio Shack and bought a pack of fuses, put one in and it worked. Got the same amp rating as what was called for. The Sargeant or who ever was there, gave him a total yelling at, for not using a mil spec fuse. But, the soldier noticed he also left the R S fuse in, and the flight simulating went on as scheduled.

Did you never hear the old saying, you have to spend money to make money? It happens to be true. The other truth is that the more people there are that have money to spend, the more business there is. It's better to give more people more money to spend than to concentrate it in the hands of a few at the top, because it creates more demand and thus more business.

But you guys won't be happy until everyone is working for free and sleeping in the streets. I always wonder: if you think low wages and no benefits are such a great thing, why don't you voluntarily take a pay cut and refuse the benefits for yourselves?

But it's true, people always blame The President of any party when things go wrong because they're ignorant of how the government is actually supposed to work. Of course some of our Presidents, including our present President overstep their bounds and toy with treason. I suppose folks blame any President because he/she/it is the figurehead of their political party. Like I wrote, there are over 500 more people running the government who should be blamed for our problems. The YouTube video below shows just how ignorant too many people are about the powers wielded by The President of The United States. O_o
