GE Washer

Recently, after the warranty on my GE washer expired, I started having a problem during the rinse cycle, seems the pump is surging for power to the effect it clicks and the lights will flicker during this process. any ideas???

I can't see the pump drawing enough power to make the lights (if whatever GE washer model you have even has a motor driven pump - not all do).

But maybe something has gotten stuck in the pump??

Hi,

Model#??

model# helps.

Sure it is the drain pump and not the main motor?...usually the drain pump would never draw enough power to dim the lights but the main motor could. Fills work? Spin works ( if you set it there )? Agitation works?
