Is there a standard width for a frieze board when the corner boards are made from 1" x 4" 's ? . On the side of a building where the roof peak is, does the frieze board run into the corner board? . For a water table trim board, does the trim board run into the corner boards, or do the corner boards rest on top of the water table trim? . thank you for your time.
The frieze and the water table are continuous and the corner trim butts into both. There is no standard width for frieze boards. They must be wide enough for their intended purpose, but beyond that, it is all up to the eye of the beholder. I have seen them as
