A magnetic door stop on the wall works well (Home Depot) or you could fix it right and level the door....though that may require moving the frame....good luck, Ross

The usual fix it to remove one or more hinge pins (easer if you only do one at a time> :-) and use a hammer to bend the pin slightly to add resistance to hold the door open.

My father always hung doors so the top of the door fell back into the frame. That would cause gravity to pull the door slightly into a closed or fully open position. The disadvantage is that it made trying to keep the door partly open more difficult. With a well balanced door it would make the door self closing.

I went looking for a magnetic latch like that at a locksmith's store and came back with a two piece plastic catch; A spring loaded "broomstick holder" to mount onto the molding at floor level and a piece it grabbed which attached to the bottom of the door.

It's worked well for six years.

Rubber door stop, usually.

In that case, it has qualities you are severely lacking.
