Cork Floor Recommendation - Duro Design

From the posting on this group, I have reading lots people have experience about cork floor. Just add another one, I am about to put cork floor through out my house.

What really confused me is that there are about a dozen manufacturers make cork floor available in US. I don't know which one has quality, reliable products and reasonable price. I have paid attention to products from Duro Design,

for their colors and patterns. Can anyone share the experience you have in this group?

Thank you all.

Well, so far we love our cork floor. From the website you linked we have the "Cleopatra" style click floating floor. We bought ours from iFloors.com under their Westhollow brand for $3.90 / sq. ft. freight included to a local dock.

Really good looking stuff. Satin finish.

The click together design works well once you figure out that aligning the long end first and then using a tapping block to seat the short end is the way to install it.

I have not yet met anyone who has seen such a floor before. The pattern concerned us at first that it might overwhelm the rooms. This is not the case. It is simply stunning. The difficulty I have had is trying to decide how to treat the two stairs we have. I think I'll simply use an oak stair nose and stain it to compliment the cork.

Enjoy it.

Oh, I must admit that I really liked the carpet that my wife insisted that we remove. The cork is as nice as carpet, to me. It is quiet, warm under foot, extremely easy to clean, and soft to walk on. I love it.
