due to snow and de-icer here in New England the concrete step has had the top portion chip away. Does anyone know if there is a concrete that sets up fast like sandable 45 does? If there is a material like that they I would not have to set up boards for a patch job.n TIA.
There are some epoxies to which you can add sand. I don't know if it will give you the look you're after, but you could coat the entire stair treads with a sand finish. The color will not match poured concrete, but you can get close. The sand affects the color greatly.
