As suggested get the best bit you can afford, Hilti makes a good one and so do some others. I have 10 Hilti bits that are over 20 years old. They work fine. Nothing like a TE-52 to make easy work of concrete, or setting anchors.
1" is starting to get up there. If your doing concrete get a heavy rotohammer, 2 hands.
