Camera Repair

About 3 years ago I bought a Canon camera. (It says Canon Power Shot A560 digital camera on the box). I took it to some real special events to take pictures. I took a whole bunck of very important kodak moments. I just decided it was time to have these pictures developed and took the camera to the Walmart photo center. The guy told me he could not develop the pictures because I used the wrong kind of film. I'm devastated. My whole career and future depended on these pictures.

Is there any way to go back in time to July and August of 2008 so I can take these pictures again, using a better camera? I'll have a professional picture taker guy do these pictures this time. From now on I'll just leave the picture taking to the professionals, I just cant seem to ever get cameras to work no matter what kind of film I use, and I always buy the best brands. Usually Kodak.

Oh you poor thing, no one told you that you can only use Canon Digital film in that model camera. It's not one of their universal digital film cameras which has caused a great many consumer complaints about proprietary film requirements for certain camera brands. In other words, YOU'RE SCREWED! Kodak does make a universal digital film cameras and they're pretty good cameras. You should get one of the Kodak cameras then look up Mr Peabody to help you obtain new pictures. Oh yea, watch out for his adopted son, Sherman, he can sometimes cause problems.

Nikon still make the F6. it was released in 2010. Perhaps the best ever film camera Nikon ever made and the best 35 mm slr film ever made. Their plant is currently shut down cause of the earthquake.

I don't follow much on the large format cameras but wouldn't surprise me if Hasselblad were still making a $10 000-$15 000 film camera.

These days Kodak are making more X-ray machines and 60 mm ccds then they are cameras.....

The major feature of cameras made by Hasselblad (aside from the quality) was the interchangeable backs. Large format users changed over to digital big time because of the tremendous time and money it saves in things like photo shoots and other commercial photography. Put a high resolution "digital back" on your Hasselblad do the shoot and minutes later the photos are off to the next step.

It hasn't been a company much interested in photography for some time. That from someone (not me) who knows Kodak execs.

The film is inside a tiny card. You have to peel open the card to get the film out. That moron at Walmart should be fired if he works in the photo department and does not know this. I'd go to that store and get the guys employee number. Then file a complaint against him. With any luck, he will get fired. Be sure to offer Walmart a money settlement for emotional pain and suffering. Explain how this has caused you extreme stress, ruined your career, and caused you to seek costly psychiatric help. Ask for at least a half million dollars, because you will never get the full amount, and the lawyers will take a large perentage too. Just getting the idiot fired is not enough. You must get your hands on some of that excessive funds that Walmart has in their bank account. They can afford it.

If you still dont your pictures from that litle card, you will have to contact the Whitehouse and ask them to put Bush back in office for a few days so you can go back 3 years in time. Then take your photos using a professional photographer and camera, and and all will be solved.
