The usual not cooling reasons include: Bad thermostat Bad start relay on compressor bad compressor low freon

Its hard to know /fix for a lay man. Though, I believe, due to pulling cheap plastic drawers, some copper/brass tubes may have pierced due to pressure of frozen bones/meat while pulling it out.
