Hey my garage door wont close all the way, it stops about a foot from the floor. I dont have the manual so i dont know where the adjustments are for the Down Limit Switch or even how to adjust it. Any help would be beneficial thanks

The up and down limit switches will either be on the unit in the form of screws with rotating arrows indicating their operation. If there are limit switches on the rails, they will have wires running to them, and when you open and close the doors, you will see a tab contacting them and opening them. Not knowing the specific type opener you have, just look up there and see what you can see. If you have any mechanical ability at all, even a little, I think that you can figure it out easily. They are really basically simple things aimed at simple minded end users.

Steve hey thanks for the info but had a head up my butt moment. when i got up to look i noticed the close switch was being tripped by the top edge of the door. Got up and seen it had loosened up and walked out. moved it back tightened it up and its back to working like a charm,I appreciate you taking the time to give me a hand with my situation. Eric

Good to know things worked out for you.
I figured that if you just got up there, you would either see the screws on the unit, or the little manual breaker mechanism on the rail. Saved yourself a $50 service call there, Bud. As an afterthought, make sure that you have the down one in a position where it puts a little pressure on the bottom big gasket that runs across the bottom of the door and contacts the floor to keep out (a little) rain water.
