3 way dimmer switch

greetings, i would like to use 2 3 way dimmer switches for some recessed lighting. can it be done or must i use a 3 way toggle switch and one 3 way dimmer? thanks cj

You can either use a combination of one three way switch and one three way dimmer or you can get three way master-slave dimmers like Lutron "Diva"

i guess i'll just use a 3 way toggle and a 3 way dimmer. now i'm a bit confused about wiring it up. the feed will come in at the toggle but after that i'm not quite sure how it will go. i have the lights wired up and the line dropped down from the ceiling to where the toggle will be located. the feed also comes up from the basement to where the toggle 3 way is. i'm not sure about the travellers to the three way dimmer. any advice thanks cj
