I just got my incinolet toilet repaired & now the fan works but the element is not heating up.

I have to admit, have always been fascinated with the technology but was always afraid to try it. But as far as the heating element not working, it's a system that includes the element itself, a relay, a thermocouple, a controller that ties it all together and a timer that limits the time all this circuitry it on. Any one of the elements of the control system can be bad or installed improperly.

Do you see lights on both the timer and the controller, more specifically the red light on the controller which means the relay is activated and the heating element is energized? if that light is on, remove the access panel on the side of the toilet and measure the voltage across the two ends of the heater. If you measure 120V across, the heater element is bad and needs to be replaced. If you don't see the voltage, UNPLUG IT FROM THE WALL and check the wiring from the controller to the heater terminal, make sure the nuts are tight and nothing is loose. If nothing is loose, replace the controller. See if the Incinolet parts diagram below can be useful. The phone number listed is the manufacturer 1-800-527-5551. Use if for troubleshooting help and parts ordering.

I am just curious, what was the extent of the repair you've mentioned? Do you know which parts have already been replaced?
