Steve;
I have been using hoses with "locking fittings" [sometimes called "no-loss"] that have a bursting pressure of 2000 psig. Then, recently I bought some hoses that purportedly were for 410a and had a bursting pressure of 5000 psig. I'm not sure what you mean "dry-break" but I've noticed the locking fitting [no-loss] on the high side stuck a few times and released the hose charge. The hose cost enough, I'd think they wouldn't stick.
