plants for deep shade

was thinking about ferns / grasses but is there anything out there that would bring some summer colour?

Check at a local nursery, they can recommend and you can choose what appeals.

I have grown impatiens and various types of begonias in deep shade. Either will offer blooms all season long, right up until frost.
