Monstera deliciosa

Hi all, have googled, have info overload.I have not been able to find specifics regarding the monstera fruit, and when to harvest ie do they ripen on plant or should they be picked, and treated in certain ways to help the process?

Any help from those with the know how would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

It does normally ripen on plant. When the top segments expand and begin to seperate the fruit is ready to be eaten.

Sometimes one can remove almost ripened fruit and watch it ripen on the sunny kitchen window sill over a few days.

hth, and regards
