Plant now. If you live in a cold-winter area, plant before the soil freezes.

Lily of the valley aren't bulbs, they're called pips, they propogate by rhizomes. Plant in spring and fall... now is a good time in most areas. Be careful where you plant as lily of the valley are invasive and grow rapidly.
