bulging plaster

Help please. What is the best way round this? There is a 2' diameter bulge in the bathroom plaster which is on a wall to be tiled. Is there an easy [any] way to tile it without hacking off and re-plastering the hole? TIA

Simply, no. The bulge has appeared for a reason, which needs to be investigated. It may be damp, or is may just a bit of bad plastering. Either way, it's falling off, so you can't tile over it, so you'll have to hack it off. You'll find a Polyfilla product which you can use to fill the hole up with.
