Well, since you didn't give any information about the spammer in question (are we talking the 'stucko' web site?) there is no quick answer.

Depends. If the origin of the actual newsgroup is from an actual news server, it should be tracked by a monitoring person who removes such. Usually takes a few days for such a person to notice and act on it. An HTTP server like giganews that vents news instead of serving it, there is no such thing. Have fun Giga readers.

Many of the sites he's pushing have been taken down already. Good.

SPAM. On the right of the message there is a "More Options" by selecting it an menu comes up. A choice of "Report Message" comes up. I'm nor sure on its effectiveness but the more of us that complain the more likely Yahoo will do something. The concern is like spam e-mail, one address gets shut down they create another. The industry has gotten good at filtering out spam e-mail, so it should be able to do it with these blogs.

I wish I'd thought of the load of concrete...I'd pay to come and see this and be sure to call the media so spammers know it's not cool to spam us.

Hope everyone out there is well.

Thanks Andy
