what paint do you need for painting aluminum sliding glass door

None, if you want...aluminum doesn't need a finish. Otherwise, Rustoleum, Krylon or an Automotive paint. Stuff that's rated for exterior use and for metal, there's even clear-coat or just clear spray paint...brushing-on will look horrible.
