What can you do if your positive and negative wires aren't long enough to reach

I'm trying to hook speakers up to a motorcycle and the positive and negative wires aren't long enough to reach battery, what can I do? Is there a specific wire I have to use? Please help

You just need to splice the cable to another one of the gauge (conductor thickness) that's appropriate for the current you are planning to push through the speakers. Since you mentioned a motorcycle, I would think even AWG16 would be an overkill (AWG18 is more likely) but I have to admit I don't have experience dealing with motorcycle sound systems specifically. Use crimp splices of the size that matches the cable gauge.
