Buff or Sand the stain out with a heavy plastic scouring pad or brass wool pad. You can use S.O.S. pads, but you really need to clean the rusting steel residue out extremely well to avoid rusting the sink. If it does rust though, then scrub the rust with the shiny side of aluminum foil to re-deposit chrome onto the sink's surface...works every time and permanently.
