recently, my riding lawn mower is leaving mohawk on the lawn. Right in the middle of the mowing path, after 1 pass, 1 strip of glass about half an inch wide is left standing. Anyone had this experience/problem and how to fix it? thanks
It sounds like the ends/edges of the blades are worn down and are no longer cutting where the two meet in their rotation. We live in an area that is mostly sand(not soil) and I can tell the blade ends have been "sandblasted away" and need to be replaced when we have the "mohawk" as you called it, in our cut path.
