It will not fit! Meaning, how are you going to slide it in there in the first place if it scrapes the walls with its sides?
But that's a moot point because a refrigerator needs air flow around it to operate and there are minimum clearances specified usually right there in the user manual. You normally need at least 1 inch clearance at the top and at least 0.5 inch clearances at each side and at the back. And these are absolute minimums. It will be easier on the fridge (better ventilation means better efficiency) and to service / clean it in the future if you double or even triple the minimums.
