I'm trying to find out whether I can use a freestanding chimney located outside the home build especially for a woodburning stove ?

The stove would have the after burning set-up. It would have a double insulated pipe about 18-20" below the floor above running accrossed the ceiling about six feet and the is hooked into the stove. It would have concrete wall to go through and concrete floor to stand on. Is there an insurance problem with this setup? This is a Wisconsin ?

You will need to talk to your local code officials to find out what the requirements would be?
