can I use the film that allows you to see out but not in on glass blocks to keep out sun in bathroom so I can see in mirror?
The sun control films are designed to be used on large flat smooth surfaces such as windows. They would not work on glass blocks that aren't exactly flat or smooth and are broken up by grout lines every 8". It would look awful even if it did stick. Perhaps a well-positioned stained glass panel of a suitable size hung in front of the window may work although it's not going to be a cheap solution. Anything else I can think of will just not look right with glass blocks.
It sounds awesome but that may not be an entirely good idea. The sun keeps the bathroom dry and that is one important thing when it comes to bathroom, because molds and stuff build around it when it's wet. But good post.Â
I guess glass block is fine. As a matter of fact glass blocks are great for energy conservation since you don't have to turn the bathroom light during daylight. Glass block enables the sunlight to pass through which makes your bathroom brighter.
